HDS is situated on nearly 17 acres but is in need of new, updated facilities. 

The campus master plan (2023) has been broken into phases: 

Current Phase–

7 New, Permanent, Long-Term Classrooms

• Secure locking door system

• Safer, more energy efficient windows

• Storm-grade building construction

• Larger classroom space

• Bathrooms in every classroom

• No more fluorescent lights

• Drinking fountains with H2O refill stations

• Wider breezeways  

• Storage area

• New Administrative Office Area

  • New teacher workroom for our hard-working teachers

  • Record keeping space and dedicated technology area

  • Dedicated reception area
